Themed "Reconstruction for the future," HIROSHIMA ORIZURU TOWER symbolizes our dream and hope for the bright future wich we want to share with the entire world.
We employed the image of crane as a motif, which taditionally symbolizes "fortune" and "reproduction." We combined the unique spiral slope design of the building to express the scene of a crowd of cranes departs and elevates high up in the air.
Flying side-by-side, cranes symbolizes images such as "links" and "bonds." The crases are also colored to express the image where the bonds are extended infinitely regardless of nations, races, cultures or any boundaries we face.
This mark symbolizes our strong hopes and wishes that everyone in the world, especially who visited us at Hiroshima, will walk toward the bright future hand-in-hand.

About the Soundtrack "TSUMUGI"
"TSUMUGI" was composed in the fall of 2013.
When love (and sometimes strictness of love) is given from parents to their children, the love is passed to their friends. When the children eventually become adults, they ought to proudly and confidently walk along the paths they choose no matter what each of the path is like or what circumstances they are surrounded by. Whatever they choose, we want them to remember the love they were given from their parents, friends, and all the people along the way who helped them walk. This song is written as a gift of love to the children.
