Our Hope~ Creating a Place with Strong People and a Gentle Future ~

Hiroshima Mazda was established in 1933, in what was then the Hiroshima Peace Memorial in Sarugaku-cho. But the entire staff passed away, and building disappeared with the atomic bomb in 1945. And from the grounds that others said not even plants could grow, we have. Grown along with the rest of Hiroshima, to this day.

There is a “sorrow” that can only be communicated here, And a sense of “hope” that can only be felt here.

The Orizuru Tower is designed to paint the picture of the “mankind’s strength” to overcome countless trials, and above all, a “future filled with kindness” in the eyes of everyone.

This is both the wish and hope of those who grew up in Hiroshima, and those who Hiroshima helped grow -- us.

The space that we have created, was created by many hands of many people. People with the same dream.

Let this become a beacon to many people. As it shares what the Orizuru represents.

Soaring through the sky, Transcending time, Touching many hearts,

About the Soundtrack "TSUMUGI"

"TSUMUGI" was composed in the fall of 2013.

When love (and sometimes strictness of love) is given from parents to their children, the love is passed to their friends. When the children eventually become adults, they ought to proudly and confidently walk along the paths they choose no matter what each of the path is like or what circumstances they are surrounded by. Whatever they choose, we want them to remember the love they were given from their parents, friends, and all the people along the way who helped them walk. This song is written as a gift of love to the children.

Composed by :Yuya Tomoyasu

Sept. 6, 1990-, from Hiroshima

"Diplomas from the Musical institute of Hiroshima in Piano and also from the Elisabeth University of Music in Piano. Premiered the original compose "TSUMUGI" with a Choir in "The Power of Music 2014" sponsored by the Hiroshima Chamber of Commerce, performed by d Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra.
